Students, their parents and educators are feeling the extraordinary ripple effect of the novel coronavirus as schools shut down and quarantine methods are ordered amidst the public health emergency. In this series, we want to share best practices from our community and how our educators and innovators are managing school shutdowns, distance learning and other challenges around the world.
transformED, in partnership with a number of Pittsburgh-based organizations, is starting to host daily Pop-Up PLNs (professional learning networks) in response to the current COVID-19 crisis. These virtual opportunities are there for educators to explore new technologies and teaching practices while connecting with other teachers, all from the convenience of your living room! The sessions will last 45-minutes and will run everyday day at 11 am and 3 pm, EST.
