How can we ensure that EVERY kid learns IT creativity skills despite their gender, location, or socioeconomic background? Our answer – serving and upskilling 32M primary school teachers globally, who reach 750M kids daily, continuously, and through different disciplines. We provide teachers with research-backed personalized learning, time-saving and innovative content, and a support system.

I appreciate that it's a consistent, ongoing program, not a single-time event. When applying TLT technology creation practices, kids create independently and explore difficult subjects through play.

Why did you create this innovation?

According to the WEF (2020), 97 million new jobs will be created by 2025 and the pace of technology disruption will continue to accelerate.
The global COVID-19 crisis exposed the digital divide among different socio-economic backgrounds and regions. How will educational systems ensure that EVERY child learns to create with technologies as a basic skill and thrives in the digital economy?

What does your innovation look like in practice?

Teachers Lead Tech is a continuous learning program for primary school teachers to
bring future-proof technology and creativity skills to classes. The program serves teachers with 3 main key pillars:

CONTENT: innovative, time-saving, multidisciplinary learning and teaching resources, based on our pedagogical methodology "Understand. Practise. Create". Topics vary from the solar system to math formulas to arts, merged with programming, 3D-modeling, machine learning, and other STEM subjects.

COMPETENCE: an online learning tool that trains teachers with in-product nudges and analytics-based learning path adaptation to their level. Mentorship for teachers through regular online skill-building sessions.

CONTINUITY: the program is designed to lead a teacher through the learning process regularly and continuously and encourages this practice in a classroom.

How has it been spreading?

After launching in September 2020, within 14 months we involved 40% of primary schools in Lithuania (~95% women), impacting 42.000+ kids from all the regions in Lithuania.

To scale our impact, we partner with Education Offices, Regional Development Centers and Municipalities. Our key partners are tech companies as social investors as well as content and technology partners.

In April 2022 we launched our program in Poland with the first pilot. In 12 months, we seek to reach 20% of all primary school teachers in Poland and this way 400.000 kids.

Within 4-5 years, we want to reach 1 M teachers globally and 20 M kids of different socio-economic backgrounds, genders and locations.
