One of the most significant missions schools across the United States is tasked with is to nurture global citizens so they can compete within a global workforce. This is not the future; this is NOW. Our students are not equipped to communicate, collaborate, or connect with others around the world. Teachers are given the directive to go create global citizens. That is a daunting tasks for the majority of teachers who have never been outside of the country let alone speak another language fluently. Teachers need the methods, pedagogy, guidance and direction. In essence, they need the tools in order to succeed in what they’ve been tasked with. P2W provides them with the tools to nurture global citizens.

P2W, Portal 2 the World, is a platform that enables educators and learners virtually travel around the world. P2W provides a synchronous and asynchronous platform for global language learning with DGBL and VR. The program follows the ACTFL standards and measurements based on the 5 C's of learning: Communications, Collaboration, Culture, Connections, and Community.
