Inquiry-based Learning in Action: Science Tutorials

To enhance students’ motivation and engagement in learning Science through hands-on experiential lessons outside the formal curriculum.

We established a 14-hour science tutorial course for Grades 9-10 students, which was comprised of many fantastic hands-on experiential lessons. Making good use of small classes, over 20 newly developed investigative activities greatly promoted students’ curiosity and motivation in learning science.

More than 20 new interesting hands-on experiments were developed to promote students' curiosity, and to enhance their motivation and engagement in learning science.
