HundrED's mission is to help all young people flourish by discovering inspiring innovations in K12 education.
We select 100 Global inspiring education innovations annually and share them with the world for free. Our first collection was released in October, 2017.
Our in house research team review hundreds of innovations from all over the world. They begin by identifying areas in education innovation can transform such as: skills, environments, teaching, assessment & leadership.
HundrED Selection Process
HundrED research team discovers and understands innovations using a multifaceted approach through desk-based research, speaking with experts, attending events and receiving applications.
To be featured as part of HundrED Global, innovations must pass the following criteria:
Innovativeness: Does it bring something new, within the context?
Impact: Does it show demonstratable evidence of impact and has it been running for at least 1 year?
Scalability: Can it be used, or is it already being used, in other areas or countries around the world?
If the innovation meets these initial criteria at review stage, our research team gain further insight through conducting in-depth interviews with the creator/representitive of the innovation, using a semi-structured interview process.
All innovations then have an opportunity to share further evidence in support of their work.
Final innovations are selected based on the research, in-depth interview and advice from our International Advisory Board.
Our selected innovations are packaged as clearly as possible and shared with the world on our platform, for free.
To celebrate their inspirational work, all selected innovators are invited to our HundrED Innovation Summit in October. This 3 day event is an opportunity to share and celebrate inspirational innovations, as well as network with other innovators from across the globe.
HundrED is a non profit organization and participating in HundrED is free.
