As executive director of The Grable Foundation Gregg Behr manages a grantmaking portfolio advancing high-quality early childhood education, improved teaching and learning in public schools, and robust out-of-school time support. From 2002-2006, Gregg served as president of The Forbes Funds, another Pittsburgh-based foundation that supports nonprofit capacity-building, research, and leadership development. Nationally, Gregg is chair-elect for Grantmakers for Education and is a trustee of GreatNonprofits.org; he is a former board chair of Grantmakers for Effective Organizations. In Pittsburgh, he co-chairs Remake Learning. In 2016, the White House recognized Gregg as a Champion of Change for his efforts to advance making and learning.
