Dr. Scott Miller is principal at Avonworth Primary Center (K-2) located in Pittsburgh, PA USA. His expertise and interests include early childhood education pedagogy, creativity in the elementary school setting as part of effective lesson design, and the development of maker spaces. Dr. Miller holds a leadership position on Allegheny County’s Hi5 Kindergarten Transition Committee as well as an active member of the early childhood organization Trying Together, the innovative network Remake Learning, and the #bethekindkid organizations. He holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Management and Leadership through Robert Morris University and as part of his doctoral research, Dr. Miller studied the impact of creativity measures through student participation in a maker space.
