Speech is the main tool for communicating. Children with speech disorders may suffer from anxiety, have problems with socialisation, use defensive responses in stressful situations, suffer from a lack of attention. Our mission is to help children correct speech disorders for comfortable interaction in society. According to the World Health Organisation, 20% of children have speech disorders.
The application is a convenient tool for both parents and speech therapists with the ability to select tasks appropriate for the age and task. When developing the application, a fundamental proven methodology for the development of articulation was used. In simple terms, the application is an analogue of a sports simulator aimed at developing the muscles of the articulatory apparatus in a playful way. A smart training system helps the child achieve results as efficiently as possible. Methodology created in collaboration with a scientific consultant.
In 2022, we conducted audience research and developed the first version of the Android app. The first 100 users managed to download the application within 1 month from the date of publication in January 2022. At the beginning of 2023, we started developing an application for IOS. Our plans for the next year are to process feedback from users and experts in the field of speech therapy, as well as expand the number of exercises in the application, create a personal account for speech therapists with the ability to create an individual package of exercises for speech tasks. We also plan to devote more time to the marketing strategy and develop social networks, participate in contests and accelerators to find investments.
