I was solving the rate of illiteracy and ignorance that was harboring the criminality in the community. Early childhood marriages and pregnancies were rampant and unavoidable.
When I started this school,I got teachers that would volunteer to help the community in teaching on a low pay.They engage learners in games and sports,debates and other life development skills to help them survive after.
We help and collaborate with the Ministry of Education and Sports to put the curriculum in use.Though games and sports are still lagging behind because of inadequate resources.
Leadership orientation sessions,creative and logical thinking programs are done through clubs and games and sports,partnership with others schools for competitiveness.
This is good because it enables us have eloquent and better leaders in future.
At least students and parents can make liquid soap and candles for domestic use in the season where prices of basic needs are high in Uganda.
We look forward to advance to other schools and communities but we are detared by resources to use which costly and bought from Kampala city.
There is a need for communication platforms and channels to help communities.
Also my contacts are available and now we are doing it here in South Sudan where I have been called to share such services.
