Anna works at the University of Turku as deputy international program manager of the KiVa Antibullying Program, an evidence-based bullying prevention program for schools offering basic education. KiVa promotes social-emotional skills, offers practical tools for bullying prevention and monitoring, and provides teachers with clear guidelines when tackling bullying cases. Today, KiVa reaches roughly 350 000 students worldwide. Anna’s professional background as a teacher enables her to understand the challenges to overcome in schools’ everyday implementation practices, and the importance of psychological well-being of children and young people.
