That we all believe children are capable of great things and that teaching them how to think by themselves will have an impact on their lives

About the innovation

Why did you create this innovation?

i created this innovation because i realized vtr did not work well with my non native students and they needed something adapted to their special setting, circumstances and needs so they could do inquiry based learning and be lifelong learners

What does your innovation look like in practice?

It works very well if you are consistent and if you dont give up on your students, by the end of the school year they are capable of recognizing basic VTR and also applying them autonomously

How has it been spreading?

i have been giving workshops to my fellow friends and also online webinars to international teachers

If I want to try it, what should I do?

I can provide you with the info and advice needed

Implementation steps

theoretical background
teachers need to be provided the theory behind the visible thinking routines and the books they should read to have a proper background
Design a unit of inquiry
Slowly unpack a unit of inquiry with these new techniques embedded depending on students level, context... ect
