From April through May 2019, FAM PEERbot Learning was implemented for children between 24 and 36 months of age, enrolled in A Place To Grow Learning Center. PEERbot Programming successfully targeted joint attention, sharing, taking turns, listening, cooperative play and cognitive skills for very early learners.  Using Soft-body Social Robots, a Learning Mat with theme appropriate appliqués and books, FAM Instructors fostered social/emotional development in small groups of children. The Social Robot reduced  inhibition while inspiring communication.  Initially reticent, our 2 year olds warmed up to the Robot over time, forming a peer bond that ignited budding friendship skills.
