Collaborate with experts! Invite a local engineer into your classroom to further connect the underwater rover project to real life.

Improve the rovers! Whether you're using a rover kit or have put your own kits together, consider challenging students to improve the rovers! Can they use a 3-D printer to make an enhancement? Is there a way to use a magnet on the rover? Can the rover take pictures and video? Ask the students for other ideas and be prepared to be amazed at their ideas!

Connect with other schools who are also building underwater rovers. Invite them to your Underwater Rover Olympics!
