'World's largest astronomy lesson': 2,000 Bulandshahr students take part in space exercise

As part of Global Sky Partners, ‘Mission Platinum’ introduced LCO to over 2,000 school students in India.

From The Times of India:

Over 2,000 students from government schools across Bulandshahr's rural belt took part in a deep space exploration exercise -- 'Mission Platinum' -- jointly organised by the British High Commission, Las Cumbres Observatory (LCO), and the district administration.

The event, which was termed the ‘world’s largest astronomy lesson’, also saw participation from some schools in the United Kingdom (UK). It helped students explore deep space objects and take pictures of them. Roughly 2,000 pictures of different celestial objects were taken by students of 25 schools in Bulandshahr and six schools in the UK.
