In walking through this journey of formative evaluation, we have picked a number of champions in the schools we collaborate with. These students scored very good marks at primary level but could not afford to join national schools where they were admitted. We have therefore ensured that despite joining county schools, they are supported and are able to access same evaluation as those in national schools and further, we have improved it by placing more emphasis on For learning which is essentially Formative Learning as opposed to Summative evaluation. This was a workshop to identify and award our champions for this program and it incorporates 10 secondary schools within Butere and Mumias West Subcounties.
