When the schools were reopening after the Corona lockdown, Dansborgskolen and KlimaZirkus decided to focus on project-based learning and designing a Globe with the SDG’s as the main focus. The challenge we gave the primary students aged 8-10 was to build the Globe year 2070. We had a lot of planning and searching for information. We talked about Leonardo Da vinci, warships, sustainability, SDGS, Zoos, sustainable transport and how it would all take form 50 years from now. All the student has worked with great enthusiasm, ownership and motivation for the last 7 weeks. The outcome is a big spinning globe where all their inventions have been placed. The students are happy with the results and the team of teachers and designers behind the scenes even more so.
